In an effort to save space while travelling and to keep up with the Santa tradition (which doesn't happen in Norway), we told the kids Santa would visit our house while we were gone and when we returned before the New Year there would be gifts for them to open there. Luckily the jolly old elf did make a stop and we had round two of Christmas, US style when we came back to Atlanta.
