The Christmas break was a welcome retreat -- we did little to nothing and enjoyed every minute of it. There was LOTS of relaxing, laughing, movie watching, eating, drinking, and general merriment. The kids played lovingly with one another almost the whole time. John was off of work and it was nice to just all be together and have no where we needed to be. We had a nice family dinner with John's sister, mom and niece. Made it into town to see the movie Frozen at the theater (which we had been eagerly awaiting the English version), went for a hike one day, but other than that it was just downtime for almost two weeks. Aaahhh--enough to get a little cabin fever and make everyone ready to resume life.
