The drive took three days in total--we drove Atlanta to Nashville, Nashville to Kansas City, and Kansas City to my parent's home in Colorado. The kids did amazingly well, thanks especially to lots and lots of technology options. Gone are the days of Slug Bug, Alphabetical order road signs and State License Plate identification. And aside from torrential rain storms in Kansas and just being sick of being in the car the last few hours, it actually went relatively quickly. And now I can say I did a cross-country road trip by myself with three kids, so there's that.
