One of our favorite places to go in Colorado is Vail. My parent's have a time share there and we have spent several visits enjoying the mountains, this particular week we didn't have use of the condo but found a great off-season deal on the Lodge at Vail. The kids and I went up with my parents for a few days and then Ava, Karsten and I stayed on alone a few additional days. It was SO nice to be in the mountains, to hike, breathe the fresh air, swim everyday and just chill out. It was a much needed few days of rejuvenation after the prior stressful months.
