With John in Norway, I thought it would be a quiet Easter with just the three of us. It is hard to live far away from family on holidays--in Atlanta we have very good friends, but no family. Around holidays I often found people had plans with their families and never wanted to impose. Thankfully, our dear friends the Harveys invited the kids and I to invade their family dinner and allowed us to impose. The three of us went to church that morning, came home and finished chick cupcakes and headed to Dave, Carolyn, and Marit's that afternoon. Dave is a Grill King and made the yummiest BBQ on his Big Green Egg. We ate, drank, and enjoyed one another's company and I for one was happy to be with other adults that afternoon.
