In Norway, Christmas Eve is the big day of celebration. We had a wonderful dinner, a visit from Julnisse, and dessert followed with gift opening at John's sister's house. It was so nice to be surrounded by family, everyone had a great time and then we headed home so our kids could fall asleep in their own beds, anticipating a visit from the "Santa" we have known in the US.
And the scene at our home....Mamma stayed up late finishing wrapping things and setting stuff
out on behalf of the big guy, should make for another round of fun in the morning.
