We were not able to get a spot at the Barnehage (Kindergarten) just down the road from us, we were put on a waiting list, but glad to find out that there was an opening at the school on Romsøy--a ten minute drive to the edge of the island we live on. It is an amazing drive, pictures will never do it justice. 360 degree views of the water, rock formations, boats, blue skies, beauty. For now I will be so grateful he has Kindergarten spot and try and enjoy the trip out to his school each day, we are so lucky that this is where we live. Before school started for Karsten we wanted to be sure he got to see where he would be going as well, so we packed a picnic and explored the water and nature area just up the hill from his school. Gorgeous.
