One night when we were in Palmer Lake I was able to enjoy a night out with these three fabulous ladies. Carrie and I taught First Grade together, Kay was a Second Grade teacher and Diane and I started teaching the same year and her third grade classroom was connected to mine with an open door way separating the two spaces. We saw each other often, over heard many funny teaching situations between us and checked in regularly. I LOVED teaching with these women. I miss being a teacher--connection with kids, families and especially colleagues. So glad that we could grab dinner and catch up on life.
