Each year before Christmas I host a Cookie Exchange at our house. I LOVE throwing parties, drinking and eating yummy things and having time with girlfriends, so this is a perfect combination of all those things. It is a nice time to relax and catch up with some of my favorite ladies. Everyone brings 3 dozen cookies they have made and then we make our way around the table taking a sampling of each kind. It results in a nice plateful of mixed cookies to take home and requiring each person to only bake one type and but leave with a variety.
