Our church held a Daddy Daughter Dance right before Valentine's Day. I was so glad John and Ava could have this time together. She LOVES her Pappa, but is certainly a Mamma's girl and does not jump at opportunities to have time alone with John, not for his lack of trying. We got her a new dress and shoes, did her hair. John got her flowers and they headed out for their date. Knowing that John is leaving in a matter of days makes this night that much more special and necessary. Hope they have a fantastic time together!
