Karsten Elias THREE years old

Karsten Elias, you are a delight. We LOVE you so very much. You are sweet as sugar and have such a kind soul. Everyone that meets you is touched by your gentle spirit. You are thoughtful about everything you do--whether it is looking after your sister, making friends, trying something new, expressing your ideas, or talking to me and Pappa. You are still hesitant about new people and new situations but have come along way from the shy little boy you once were. You love preschool and are so smart. You recognize all your letters and most numbers, you can spell your name. You try to keep up with all that your sister is learning. You like to figure things out and are a problem solver just like your Pappa. You notice the smallest of details. You love to sing and dance. Some of your favorite things this year are Toy Story, Yo Gabba Gabba, legos, building, You Tube, soccer, and time at the toy store. Thank you for being such a special little boy, hope this is your best year yet! Can't wait to see all that you will learn and do. Love you, buddy. xo

On Karsten's actual birthday he took his cupcakes to school, we met up at our favorite Italian restaurant for dinner and then opened gifts back home. This would be his third celebration and we still have his party to look forward to...can't say we don't acknowledge birthdays in a big way around here. He is one that is absolutely worth celebrating--so glad he is happy, healthy, and THREE!
