Hike Around Lake Lanier

So far the month of June has been fairly comfortable--not too terribly hot and low humidity. We have been trying to take advantage and do thing outside on the weekends knowing that July and August will most likely be miserable. The weekend before Father's Day we hiked a loop trail near Lake Lanier--Ava did fabulous, especially since she insisted on wearing Crocs (not the best hiking shoes). It was close to 3 miles round trip and she did the whole thing without a complaint. Karsten still preferred sitting in the backpack, which he is quickly outgrowing.
