Ava's PreK Graduation

Early on when we started the kids at the school they attend, we made the decision to move Ava up a year from where she should have been given her birthday. In GA the cut off for Kindergarten is September 1, so she will need to wait another year before she can enter public school. The PreK class she attended this year has been so good for her. Being with some older kids has been a great influence and has really helped her to learn and grow. Her teacher, Miss Sonia is very loving and nurturing and taught the kids so much. We will be sad to leave Oxford Falls this fall--it has been a great place for both of our kids. Because Ava finished PreK, we need to find a tranistion year, so she will attend a private Kindergarten program this coming year. We are so very proud of out little graduate.

I love how he's looking at his sissy.

Ava looks so grown up in these pictures! The first of many graduations to come...neat that even Pre-K makes it a special milestone for the children.

Love,
