We spent Easter at home this year. The kids woke up early (as usual) and went on a scavanger hunt to find the basket of goodies that the easter bunny had left. We went to church and had a relaxing afternoon and then had our good friends, the Johnsons over here for dinner. The Johnsons have two boys, Gabe and Jake. Leah and I met through a mom's group when we first moved here. Ava and Gabe were infants when we first became friends-- it has been so fun to see our two grow up together. Can't believe they will be five this year, time flies! Karsten and baby Jake are a bit further apart and aren't really playing together now but I hope they too will be good buddies. When you live far from family it is so nice to have friends to spend holidays with that are close like family.

Ava & Karsten looked so cute in their Easter outfits. They could be models! Glad you were able to celebrate with Leah's family on Easter.
