The end of May all of the students from barnehage come to Tveit Skole and spend a few hours, meeting their teacher, seeing their room and experiencing a little sample of a day of school. Karsten was surprisingly nervous and some of his previous anxiety about new situations and change resurfaced. Luckily that was short lived. When they introduced the two teachers, he said he was hoping for the tall, pretty one--just his luck, Heidi (the tall, pretty one) called his name and he got the teacher he was hoping for, based solely on looks. Hopefully she proves to be a good match for him!
