Lego Land

We headed back west in Denmark and our next stop was LegoLand-- this was the part of the trip the kids were looking most forward to.  It started out as a great day...John and I were actually celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary (not the most romantic of places, but we were so happy to be together and to be with our awesome kids), we had a wonderful time in LegoLand, rode lots of rides, saw some of the coolest Lego creations, and then we returned to our car... unfortunately our day ended on a major downer.  When we returned to the parking lot that evening, we realized our window had been broken and someone had stolen several things from the back of our station wagon.  We proceeded to spend several hours getting the glass cleaned up, filing a police report, a temporary fix for the window, etc.  Not how we had hoped the day would end, the kids were very shaken up by the whole thing and John and I were just frustrated that someone would do that.  It felt so violating, my computer with lots of personal info and pictures were stolen, in addition to all our passports. A story for another day.

Serious bummer
