HH--Day 3: Father's Day

The last day we were on Hilton Head was actually Father's Day--it was the perfect way to celebrate what a great Pappa John is for our kids. I feel incredibly blessed knowing that Ava and Karsten will grow up with a man who loves them the way he does.  Again, we spent an early morning on the beach, built lots of sandcastles (another one of John's hidden talents revealed, he should have been an architect) and then went back and showered and loaded up the car late afternoon.  The kids were WIPED, they slept the first three hours of the drive home, we stopped for dinner in Macon GA, popped in a movie afterward and were home before it was done playing.  Tired out beach babes make for easy car trips!
Happy Father's Day, Pappa!

Impressive sand castles! The beach looks lovely -- know you all had a great little vacation. Nice to have such a beautiful getaway, not too far from home.

Love,
Mom/Nana
