The next day we walked around by the cabin and then drove closer into town to look for a hiking trail and see Lake Blue Ridge--unfortunately we came up empty handed in finding the trail head, which was probably for the best, everyone was hot and tired. We stopped in a little restaurant in downtown to get a little snack, enormous pretzels all around, coke for the kids and bier for John and I. We returned to the cabin, made dinner and headed out back for more S'mores and soaking. The next morning we packed it up and headed out in time to get the kids to the airport and on there way back to Colorado. What a fantastic way to end the week!
Sam was happy to get out with us, glad he could come

Looks like a beautiful place -- glad everyone had such a great weekend. A mini-vacation, not too far from home.
Love,
Mom
