The snow fort built by Joachim and Matthias
We visited Bergen on a Christmas that they had the most snow they have had in years. Coming from the land of fair weather, we are somewhat ill-equipped when it comes to snow clothes. Luckily, our nephew, Steinar works for a clothing company and supplied our children with the best set up: ski jackets, bibs, hats, gloves, and matching boots. What a gift! Our kids look like the Navigere spokes models. Thank you, Steinar! We joked that now we had gear that we'd never use again--coincidentally, we have lived in these clothes the past week with the major Atlanta snow storm.

What a practical and generous gift, and those snow suits have come in very handy! Ava & Karsten both look very Norsk! Fortunately, you didn't have QUITE so much snow in Atlanta, and this week are probably happy to have it disappear finally!

How perfect that Karsten's hat and snowsuit say "Elias"! Also, it's interesting that technically Ava & Karsten are Steinar's first cousins, although they are younger than Joachim and Matthias! That makes it confusing, doesn't it?

Makes one miss Norway so much!! Florida snow is black and you can wipe it up everywhere with a cloth.
