An annual trip for us has been to Lake Lanier for the Festival of Lights-- it's 7 miles of light displays that you drive through which then culminates with Santa, smores, animals, and a fair. It's a random hodge podge of wonderful things that our kids love. I found it particularly comical to see these sticky faced, marshmellow-eating children holding soft furry bunnies. That's just asking for a mess. Oh well, luckily kids wash and the bunnies didn't seem to mind. This year Karsten didn't cry when he sat with Santa, but Ava still had to speak on his behalf. It was a fun night.

It looks like such a fun time! Karsten does look rather concerned sitting on Santa's lap...maybe by next year he will be more at ease :) Did they come home with bunny fur stuck on their hands after the s'mores? Neat to have these special traditions each year!
Love & hugs to all,
Mom/Nana
I noticed it's interesting how Karsten has his hands clasped in the pictures -- wanted to make sure that Santa didn't try to hold his hand maybe!
Love,
