We spent the day at Stone Mountain Park-- it was glorious. A bit brisk this morning, but once the sun started warming things up it was perfect. This was the last weekend for their Fall Pumpkin Patch, we managed to sneak it in right before Halloween. The kids had fun doing the low-ropes course, riding the train around the base of the mountain, going for a long walk, and watching the beginning of snow prep for sledding in the coming months. In Georgia we have to blow snow to create a sledding hill because we don't get enough from Mother Nature. Unfortunately because it was too windy we were not able to ride the Sky Ride Tram to the top of the mountain, next time. I got the pumpkin pictures I was hoping for and the whole family had a great day. Now tonight I need to finish sewing Halloween costumes for the big day.

Kose dere masse

So glad you had a nice day to enjoy Stone Mountain -- it looks so pretty there in fall. Did you bring home pumpkins for Halloween? No duck boat ride this time...too cold? How do they keep the snow from melting when it's above freezing? Maybe can go back there after Christmas -- that would be fun to do again. Happy Halloween to Ava & Karsten.
Love & hugs to all,
Mom/Nana
