In August we had the exterior of the house re-painted. It was still the original builder paint from the first owners, so going on eight years old and in desperate need of a touch up. We went with totally different colors--more neutral browns and darker. I think it warms up the brick and makes the house look much different. Here are the before and after pictures.

You never mentioned you had the house painted. It looks lovely -- nice color scheme. Good thing you didn't have to do the painting -- that would be a huge job!
