Stair Climber

The other day the bottom gate accidentally got left open and until now Karsten hasn't been too interested in exploring beyond the first floor. So after I finished helping Ava get dressed, we were heading back down and as I walked past the playroom--Karsten was sitting in there and just goes, "Hi." As if he had been doing this his whole life. Just heading upstairs to go play, don't mind me, and don't leave me downstairs by myself. He has now mastered the stairs and is thrilled every chance he gets to cruise up them. Mind you, we are careful to always have the gate closed unless we are right behind him.
