This afternoon we met up with our best buddies, Leah and Gabe to play in the town center fountain. It was 75 degrees out, not many people in the park, perfect mix of sun and comfortable breeze, all in all a lovely day. The kids had a fantastic time in the fountain-- Ava and Gabe have been in it before, but this was Karsten's first time. When I first sat him down he seemed a bit apprehensive and then he splashed in one of the spouts and realized this had the makings for big fun. He would put his face straight in the water and laugh hysterically. Ava and Gabe ran around and tested out some of the higher spraying choices. After some good hard playing, we walked across the street and had Five Guys for dinner, my very favorite burger and french fries joint. I love our little town and some of the great family things it has to offer, times like today remind me just how lucky we are to be here.

What fun! Karsten was obviously delighted to play in the fountain...such cute pictures. By the way, they just opened a Five Guys in Longmont -- they do make good burgers! Enjoy your lovely springtime...miss you all!
