These pictures are long overdue--we took literally 100s (with our new camera) so I needed to sort through, and now I haven't done a post in quite awhile. We had a wonderful time having Pappa home, as well as both John's and my parents with us. It was a special Christmas--the children were more than inundated with all the new toys. Ava was thrilled at the prospect of Santa coming and continues to tell me she is "waiting for him". It is going to be a long wait until next time. Karsten did a lot of watching as his sister tried to claim all of his things for her own. And now--another year has passed, the decorations are put away, the guests have come and gone, the house is clean and we are trying to just be for awhile.

What a beauiful sample of your Christmas pictures! I especially love the one where Ava is giving Karsten a kiss on Christmas morning -- very sweet. We were so happy to be able to be together for this Christmas with all of you. Lots of excitement...maybe you will be glad to have things quieter for a little while.
