We went for a family hike this morning to Stone Mountain, which is a local attraction in Atlanta that we have never been to. Although it is a "touristy spot", it is also a lovely outdoor area with lots of hiking and nature trails and lakes. It was a hot summery day, but luckily the shade of the trees made it much more bearable. The kids both did great and Karsten was especially sweet--facing out in the baby carrier so he could see everything, he kicked his legs and goo-gaed almost the entire time we were hiking... I guess he liked it! We just hiked and played at the playground today, but we look forward to going back and doing some of the other things-boat rides, a tram to the top of the big rock, etc. Perhaps we will go with the next tourists (family members) that come to see us!

Stone Mountain looks like a lovely area. Glad that you all enjoyed the hike, though Ava looks a little "wilted". Would probably be more comfortable when the weather is cooler.
