Karsten Elias' Baptism

We had Karsten baptised yesterday-- our dear friends, Becky and Merritt are his god parents and we had a private service at their church. It was just our family, their family (including their three children Allison, Brooke, and Adam) and Pastor Kevin. It was a lovely, intimate, and heart felt service. We feel so incredibly blessed to have these people in our lives and the lives of our children. They are a wonderful example of the people and parents that we strive to be more like. We thank God for the impact that they have had on us in the short time that we have known them and the ways that they will continue to support and encourage our children in the future.

I LOVE that last picture. He looks like an angel..as does Ava, as usual.
Thanks for the bday greetings. I'll call you when I get back to the USA.

You are truly blessed to have two such precious children, and such special friends in Becky & Merritt. We wish so much that we could have been there to celebrate Karsten's Baptism with you. Know that you all were in our thoughts and prayers on Saturday. What beautiful pictures, and special memories for you. We're glad that Pastor Kevin was willing to do Karsten's baptism at their church.
(Dad said you should have mentioned to him that your uncle (Harold) was a Missouri Synod school principal for 40 years, and you have a second cousin (Jeff Dorth) who is a Missouri Synod Pastor in Wis. (Jeff is the senior pastor of a 3,000 member church!)

Love & hugs to all of you,
Mom/Nana
