Princess Aurora left this dress in our hotel room for Ava
with a note asking her to wear it to dinner that night--
she was so proud and looked beautiful
I am so happy, now that all those girls aren't gathered around me!
On Friday night we went to Epcot for a Princess Dinner at the restaurant in Norway. As I planned this trip somewhat last minute, we were not able to get into a meal at the castle...in hind sight this worked out even better. We got to see Epcot and having dinner at the Akerhus seemed very appropriate given John's origin. He was happy to talk with all the wait staff in Norwegian and Ava was simply OVERJOYED to meet all the princesses up close and personal. Karsten on the other hand was a bit shy. When he isn't sure of someone, he turns his head to the side, as if to ignore them or say, if I can't see you- you can't see me. The last of the princesses to make their way around to our table was Ariel, by the time she arrived he was warming up to the idea of these lovely ladies. It was a very exciting dinner and Ava couldn't bring herself to eat with all the giddiness, somehow when it was time for dessert she managed to help us literally lick the plate clean.
