We went to the zoo with our friends, Suzy,Emily and their cousin George again last week--only this time I wasn't 36 weeks pregnant. It was much easier walking around with Karsten in the stroller with Ava, rather than in me! We had a great time, Ava loves all animals and in the past few months has taken a real interest in Thomas the Train. She is thrilled about Choo-choos, so the little train that takes you for a ride around the zoo was very well received. Karsten didn't see much from his seat, but was perfect the entire time we were out. It is so nice to have this amazing baby that will just go with the flow--it makes getting out and doing things both realistic and enjoyable.

Looks like everybody had a fun outing at the zoo. Karsten looks so serious! I think it's very interesting that Ava loves trains so much lately. Does she have any of the Thomas the Tank trains? We expected Karsten to be the one who would like trains. See you in 2 days! Can't wait...
