Ava came to the hospital a few hours after we had Karsten on Friday-at first sight she happily said, "baby!" and wanted to check him out. Shortly after that she became more interested in a Styrofoam cup filled with ice water, than she was with her new brother. I am sure the surroundings and excitement of the day were a bit overwhelming- it will be interesting to she how she responds to him once we are home. Our hospital stay has been really nice-but we are all anxious to get home and begin our new life. We have been cleared to check out this evening and look forward to being under one roof.
I don't think I want to wear that hat!
