It has been far too long since we put up new pictures, it seems that the business of decorating, baking, card making, shopping, and shipping has consumed much of our time these days. We do have some pictures from the recent festivities, unfortunately some things have come and gone with little to no documentation. Ava went to her first cookie decorating party with friends, she is still too little to do much with icing, but did enjoy the eating part afterward. Mamma hosted a holiday party and cookie exchange this past Thursday night. It was a fun evening of socializing, games, and eating/drinking with the girls--poor Pappa was the designated "upstairs babysitter", but he didn't seem too sad to miss out on what was happening on the lower level. We have enjoyed decorating our home more this year than in the past. This will be the first time we do not travel to CO. We will have a quiet Christmas here in Atlanta, just the three of us. Although we will surely miss being with family, we look forward to waking up on Christmas morning in our home and with some of our own traditions.

You get first prize for most festive house I've ever been in. You really should decorate for a living.
Loved seeing you guys.
Ava looks very Christmas-y is her Norwegian sweater... & also very Norwegian :) Your big Christmas tree looks like a professional decorating job. I'm very surprised that Ava doesn't disturb the packages under the tree. Maybe she doesn't realize what's in them yet!
It will be a very different (& quiet) Christmas for all of us this year. We will really miss being with you, but we know you are happy to have Christmas at your home for a change.
Love & hugs,
Mom
OK, Martha Stewart...nice house. Stop dilly-dallying around and come decorate my house. Please? Pretty please? We're trying to find a nice, subtle green to paint our house. Lisa thinks it will look good with our red brick. Any suggestions?
Merry Christmas, from Colorado!
