Playing in the fountain in the children's garden.
Beautiful hanging baskets, wish ours at home looked like these.
Ava making a "Silly Rabbit" face.
The last time we were here, Ava was barely standing
and came up to the daisy. She is growing in deed.
Karsten is not far behind her.

Here is the picture of Ava from April 2007 post, time flies.
Last Sunday we decided to skip church and take advantage of a beautiful day communing in creation. We had not been to the botanical garden since my parents visited when Ava was just a baby. A lot has changed just this year, they added a suspended bridge that makes you feel like you are in the treetops and an edible garden. The grounds are out of this world and I always wish we had a yard half this lush. The especially cool thing about this garden is it is situated right in the heart of Atlanta; so there are sky scrapers in the distance, but you are surrounded by trees, flowers and green space. My kind of city.

It looks so beautiful! Ava & Karsten are both big enough now to enjoy it. When we went there with you was our first time visiting you in Atlanta. Isn't it great to have these wonderful gardens fairly close to home for you?
Love,
Mom
