My husband, hearing my daughter speak Norsk with her Farfar and Farmor, my limited language skills returning, breakfasts that consist of good breads, cheeses & meats-- and are eaten sitting down with long conversations, afternoon coffee and waffler, various yummy things my mother in-law is making like Lefse and Kransekake. General Christmas traditions that make this time of year feel special.
