Happy Halloween

We had fun with festivities this year; Ava was old enough to go trick-or-treating and enjoyed every minute of it. She has a fondness for candy, so this is a holiday that suits her well. There was a trial run on Wednesday, when John took the kids to our church for Trunk or Treat (where people park and the kids go from car to car gathering loot from the boot.) I was on a business trip in NY and was sad to miss out, but proud of Pappa for rising to the occasion and braving it with two kids on his own. Tonight we had dinner with our good friends, the Johnson's and then Ava and Gabe went house to house together. They were awfully cute and a fun evening was had by all--It has been a Happy Halloween.

Very cute costumes! Ava made such a pretty fairy, and Karsten was precious as a panda bear. Glad that Ava enjoyed Halloween so much, and maybe she was persuaded to share her candy with Mamma & Pappa?

Love & hugs,
