Fall Festivities

I love this time of year-- the air is starting to feel cool and crisp, the leaves are changing color, there are many fun family things to do outside. Everything about Autumn appeals to my senses--from apple cider to pumpkin bread, the smell of leaves, and time with my kids. This past weekend we went to Thompson Tree Farm for a hayride, pumpkin picking, and feeding the goats. Ava had a fabulous time, Karsten just kind of went along for the ride. But I think he had fun too. It was a lovely day full of nice memories as a family.

I love the pictures of Ava with the goats! And Karsten & Ava are so cute riding in the wheelbarrow with the pumpkin! Did Karsten try to bit the mini-pumpkins? Glad that you had such a nice day! (As you know last weekend we couldn't go to the pumpkin patch with Eden because our weather was cold and very rainy...but we did enjoy the Butterfly Pavilion instead.) I'm sure Ava will really enjoy Halloween this year -- she is old enough now.

Love & hugs to all,
Mom/Nana
