What in the world did you just put in my mouth?!!

We presume Ava is in the throes of teething- she has been almost inconsolable the past two days, which is completely out of character for her. She has woken up at 5am the past three mornings in a row. Additionally she can't find enough to chew on and someone has turned on the "drool faucet" in her mouth. Poor thing- this afternoon I tried to rub Baby Orajel on her gums in an attempt to ease the pain. That proved to be the wrong thing to do...she went from fussy to just plain mad and was seemingly very bothered by the numb feeling in her mouth. To say she disliked it would be an understatement. Any other suggestions to get through these first teeth coming in? I fear we are in for a rough couple of weeks.

Try wetting and freezing some baby face cloths and letting her chew on them...Then there's teething tabs..they are homeopathic tabs that dissolve in their mouths...other than that, I have no idea. Every baby is different but one thing they have in common is how vicious they are during the teething season.
Good luck.
