This year Ava really wanted to have a slumber party with some of her girlfriends-- I thought we'd invite a handful of people and inevitably there would be some regrets. I guess the idea of having a "kid free" evening was appealing to the parents of those we invited, as every girl was able to come and we had the BEST time. The theme of the party was cookies and milk, we found the cutest pj set with sleeping masks for each of the girls to wear. We watched a movie, did facials, painted nails, and in general had a lot of fun. Everyone was sound asleep by 10:15 pm, woke up at 7 am and after breakfast, were on their way home. It could not have gone more smoothly and for all those who worried it would be a lot to handle, it was one of the easiest and most enjoyable parties I have ever hosted. Most importantly, Ava had a blast and that's all that really matters.

What a fun theme for Ava's birthday party! Another great cake creation too! Does Ava have any friends who are NOT blonde? :) And what was the deal with the mustaches?? (Just wondering...)
