We took the kids to see Sesame Street live the other weekend. It was a cute show, both Ava and Karsten were thrilled to see all the characters and were enthralled the entire production. At the end, Ava was sad that we couldn't go down and hug everyone. She is crazy for costumed characters and was hoping to meet them up close and personal. It's possible that you could have stood in line for hours to greet them after the show, but we didn't stick around to find out. This time they just had to be loved from a distance. We went out for dinner after the show and then called it a night. It was a fun to be downtown, and reminded us that there is much to do in the big city that we live just north of. We could/should probably take advantage of more opportunities, we tend to stick close to home in the suburbs.

Aw, lucky kids! Playhouse Disney came here but tickets were too outrageous. Glad Karsten got to see Elmo in the flesh!
I'm sure the kids loved it! Ava looks cute in the denim jumper -- glad that she can wear it already! Was there a huge crowd for this show?
Love & hugs,
Mom/Nana
