Construction Update

Well, we are essentially finished with the building project--only two weeks behind schedule! ugh. We received the C.O. yesterday, which means it passed final inspection. There are still a few drywall and paint touch ups that need to happen and we are waiting on carpet for the new upstairs loft room, but otherwise it's done and we are thrilled. The space is fabulous, the downstairs is lovely and more cozy feeling. Ava loves running around what is the empty upstairs room for now-all are happy. Here are pictures of the "during" process. We will post one last set once we clean and get things moved back in...it is hard to capture a space on a single photo. So, you will have to come visit and see for yourselves how it turned out!

One reason we didn't want Ava home during this.

Wow! It looks really great! And I'm sure Ava will love the loft room once it is put back together and carpeted. Well, you certainly don't lack for enough space or rooms in your house! (Plenty to keep clean though.) We'll be anxious to come and visit and see the transformation in person!
Thinking of you all.

Love & hugs,
Mom/Nana

It looks GREAT! It must be so nice to have that extra space. Good going architect Julie!
