Still in Colorado

We are approaching the end of week three. Our construction project that was to be completed in two weeks is still on-going...such is the ways with construction projects I suppose. Rather than return to a home that is still a mess and without furniture on the entire downstairs level, the kids and I have stayed on in Colorado for an additional week. We miss Pappa terribly and are counting the moments until we will all be together again--48 hours from right now or 2880 moments. This has been a really nice visit, but it is starting to get too long. We have been away for a quarter of Karsten's life. He turned 3 months today! The house is coming along, passed all inspections, got a second coat of drywall mud today, and will supposedly be 98% complete by Saturday evening...we shall see. John has taken lots of during pictures from his side and I have taken lots of CO pictures on this end, so we will do numerous new posts with images once I am home and can download things from my camera.

Hi Julie & John, Ava, & Karsten,
We know everyone is very happy to be back home in Atlanta after such a long time away. Now if the construction project would just get finished, so your house can get back to normal, right??! Those remodeling projects are always more of a headache than anyone anticipates, and delays are almost guaranteed. We'll be anxious to see the "after" pictures. Thinking of you, and we miss you all.

Love & hugs,
