Parenthood

This picture of Ava reminded me of the movie 'Parenthood', where Steve Martin's character has a little boy who runs by with a bucket on his head and proceeds to bang into the wall. Steve Martin says, "he likes to ram things with is head." His brother in law, who has a very bright daughter that would never behave in this way-- responds, "you must be so proud." Kids do silly things, tonight Ava dumped all the books out of the tub and proceeded to either crawl in it and sit in a very tight space or just wear it on her head...singing and appreciating the sound her voice made. Of course as concerned parents we would never let her wear a plastic tub over her head without close supervision--but as long as we are in the room, it provides for some good evening entertainment.

I don't recall our children putting buckets or plastic tubs on their heads, but I remember that you and Phillip both loved to play in the empty laundry baskets, or he would crawl in it, and you would push him around the floor, like he was riding in a boat. Children at that age are so imaginative, they really don't need expensive toys. Ava was probably entertained that she could look out through the tub.

i like your safety disclaimer at the end.
Caden has a similar tub that he wears around and knocks on with his fist so that the sound will echo around his head.
I knew our children would be perfect together!
