All Aboard

This past weekend we traveled to the North Carolina mountains--John had purchased a weekend get away in Waynesville, NC about half an hour outside of Asheville.  Originally we were hoping to get away for a romantic weekend and then decided to take the kids and make it more of a family-friendly getaway. On Friday night we drove straight to Bryson City to take a ride on the Polar Express.  The Great Smoky Mountain Railway transforms for Christmas.  We boarded the train, had our golden ticket punched by the conductor, were served cocoa and cookie buy the chefs, sang Christmas songs, and travelled to the North Pole.  Once we got there, Santa boarded the train and gave each child a silver bell-- it was magical and the kids loved it!

Dere er så flinke til å finne på utflukter med barna deres, selv om dette i utgangspunktet skulle være en helg for dere to så syntes jeg dere er supre foreldre som skaper mange hyggelige opplevelser for Eva og Karsen.
