She Gets Around

It has been too long since I have posted a new blog...life seems to be going in fast motion these days. Ava is growing and changing by leaps and bounds. We thought that she wasn't going to crawl, rather go straight to walking. Last week she surprised us and now there is no stopping her. She has gone from this very easy going baby, who would sit in one place and play or read books- to this incredibly active little girl, who will not stop until she literally collapses out of exhaustion. I don't know that she has mastered crawling, she has this funny way of tucking her left leg under her almost like a support and dragging that as she crawls or sometimes has her right foot flat on the ground, half walking/half dragging- I guess what she is doing is more like crawlking...whatever it is, she can move. Likewise, she has learned to pull herself up on almost anything; her favorite being her crib. Again, the baby that used to go down and was fast asleep within minutes and with no fussing- is now a little girl who runs laps around her crib and refuses to go to sleep until she is good and ready.
