Hotel Bonus Points

Thanks to John's numerous travels, he has bonus miles and points that every once in awhile can go to good use. Although he has slept in hotels more times than he would like to remember- it was Ava's first hotel stay this past weekend. A prelude for how she might do on our trip through Norway this summer. We were a little worried that with us in the same room she would not want to sleep, but after adjusting quickly to a new space-everything went remarkably well. We hope she will be this easy in August. I am sure the time difference will contribute to much of the adjustment then. John and I were able to enjoy some "quiet time" as well, when she napped-we turned out all the lights and lay on our bed, so that she knew everyone was resting-not something we usually take advantage of at home. The outfit Ava had on Sunday morning, matched our hotel room colors and couch, perfectly. (We love a photo opportunity!)
