What is going on here?Ava turned 4 months on Sunday, the 7th of January. Time is passing too quickly. This morning we tried cereal for the first time. It was met with little interest. I think the texture was unfamiliar and her lack of knowledge how to swallow something that wasn't liquid and streaming from a nipple proved to be tricky. In the end, she maybe ate 1/2 a teaspoon in total…we'll try again tomorrow. Often I think people use cereal as a means to get babies to sleep longer through the night or to help them put on some weight. In this case, neither is necessary- Ava sleeps 11 to 12 hours without interruption and as you can see from that beautiful round face, she isn't lacking in that regard either!
