This evening we all took a drive over the pass to Leadville--the colors were spectacular and taking in the scenery was a real treat. Days like this make living in the South difficult. I am a Colorado mountain girl and the combination of being around my family and in an environment that I love, makes me miss this place like crazy. After dinner, the kids and I drove with Missie to Buena Vista where we met Howard, Noah and Eden. We were retrieving E for the duration of the week and it was nice to get to see the boys quickly as well.

Great pictures of the scenery! We love spending time in the mountains in the fall -- especially with our family! Perfect vacation for all.
