We took Ava's bunad with us so that I could be shown the proper way to put all the pieces together. After we received it, I guessed how it should look--once John's family saw the pictures from this past year's 17th of May celebration, I think they were horrified to see their national dress assembled by an American! :) Thank you Farmor and Svanhild for helping me with this. We will wear it correctly from here on out.

I'm sure John's parents were delighted to see Ava wearing the Bunad. Hopefully, she won't outgrow it for awhile, so that it can be worn many times.
