New Little Friend

We were so thrilled when we discovered that the new family that moved in across the street from us had a little girl exactly Ava's age. They moved in this fall and the girls immediately have become great friends, wanting to play with one another nearly each day. It's lovely to have someone for Ava to connect with, she is getting old enough to go play alone (without me, obviously not without another adult) and loves the independence of crossing the street and telling me she'll be back in a few hours. We try to have Arabella over juts as much, if not more, because Poor Karsten's feelings are really hurt when Ava leaves and he can't go play with the girls. I am excited for these girls to grow up together and have a neighborhood friend that will be in the same grade in school.
