Norway Trek

We had a wonderful trip to Norway- surrounded by loving family, good friends, and spectacular scenery. The beginning of the trip started out very cool, dreary, and rainy-but this did not keep us from getting out. Eventually the sun did reappear and made everything that much nicer. We kept very busy and Ava was a trooper the whole time. She just went with the flow and only looked a bit confused each time we put her on another form of transportation; whether it was a plane, a car, a ferry, a train, or in the stroller- she rolled with it. Everyone was thrilled to see her and we miss them all dearly. We started our trip in Bergen and had a lovely time with John's sister and family. Then Julie's parents flew up from Germany(where they were visiting) and joined us for the remainder of the trip- we drove to Haugesund, John's home town and did some sightseeing as well as attended the wedding for Øyvind and Hege Helen, it was a lovely day. From there we drove onto Hadanger and Eidfjord...where we experienced breathtaking landscapes. We then drove back to Bergen and spent a few more days in the city and with our family. And now we are home- which is always a good place to be. We took many pictures; here is a sampling of some of the things we saw.

Ava got so used to the clouds, she was
not happy to have the sun in her eyes.
