Ava had her friend birthday party at Peace, Love, and Pottery. It was a fun afternoon-- each person got to choose a piece they wanted to paint and everyone worked quietly and intently for a good while. A room full of girls (plus a few boys) and an art project is a good match. After the pottery painting there was time for pizza, cake, and gift opening--and we were finished. The best part of parties away from home is that at the end you get to walk away and not have to worry about cleaning up. Everyone seemed to have a great time--we are blessed to be surrounded with good friends, both young and old alike.

Haven't checked your blog lately...was a nice surprise to see the pictures from Ava's birthday party! Looks like it was a big hit with everyone. Ava is getting to be such a big girl!
